Estée Lauder’s network of 15,000 beauty advisors will soon be looking a lot more fashionable – in ‘uniforms’ designed by Opening Ceremony.

Fashion designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, of Opening Ceremony, created a 14-piece collection with unisex looks for the beauty brand, in navy blue and off-white.

Parts of the stylish outfits – including the custom made jacquard-print fabric – were inspired by Estée Lauder’s iconic packaging, including a rope-weave pattern from a vintage package.

The collection includes a peplum blouse, slim pant, pleated skirt, and blazer that the design team describes as “retro but modern.” The outfits will also be modified to reflect each season’s trends, by adding a new belt, for example.

The beauty advisors at Estée Lauder’s new flagship counter at Macy’s Herald Square will be the first to wear the new outfits.

Returning the favor, Estée Lauder’s creative makeup director Tom Pecheux and nail artist Naomi Yasuda will be on hand for Opening Ceremony’s first New York Fashion Week show on September 8th.
